Mike is the former CEO of the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) and Executive Board member of the APTA. He brings a wealth of knowledge in transit management, project delivery methods, and program development and implementation. Mike brings experience at the helm of UTA as it underwent its largest transit expansion through the passage of groundbreaking local ballot initiatives.
Sarah is an expert on urban mobility management, former transportation authority board member and Deputy Secretary of Transportation for the State of California, provides focus on research and development and advanced technologies through her university affiliations and industry consulting.
Mort is a former Deputy Secretary of Transportation of the US Department of Transportation and a recipient of APTA’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his service to the industry. Mort brings his extensive knowledge of infrastructure policy and an unmatched ability to bring resolution to complex policy issues.
Dr. Jha is widely recognized as an expert in transportation public-private partnerships with a demonstrated ability to integrate creative thinking, commercial insights, and technical information to help clients develop implementable solutions for large and complex infrastructure projects. He has worked closely with infrastructure concessionaires, equity and debt investors, contractors and designers and on the owner side, and has led consortium of investors for mega P3 projects as a bid director, advised global construction firms as a consultant, and led design teams as a senior executive at A&E firms.
Denny is a long-time leader of the community advocacy organization, Move LA and former mayor of Santa Monica, California. He brings unparalleled experience in developing regional initiatives, conceiving and advocating on behalf of local ballot measures, and managing local and regional election campaigns. Denny has done considerable pro bono work assisting regions outside of LA who wish to draw on LA’s enviable track record of generating local funding through ballot initiatives.
