InfraStrategies is supporting MCDOT in the development of a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Investment Grant (CIG) Small Starts grant package for the $189 million Veirs Mill Road (MD586) Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. As part of MCDOT’s plans to expand the Flash BRT network, the Veirs Mill Road Project is a new 7.6-mile BRT line that will connect Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus, the Rockville Metro Station, and the Wheaton Metro Station.

InfraStrategies is leading the development of the Small Starts financial plan for the project, which is underpinned by a 20-year agencywide financial model.
