Ride Gwinnett
Microtransit Fare Policy, Financial Strategies, and Referendum Project List Development
InfraStrategies supported Ride Gwinnett with the development of a fare policy assessment for a new microtransit service planned for August 2023. The assessment resulted in the recommended $3.00 flat fare that will be used for the new service in Snellville and Lawrenceville, Georgia.
InfraStrategies is currently supporting Ride Gwinnett with the development of the agency’s first financial model, a systemwide fare policy assessment, and tailored financial strategies for Gwinnett County’s Transit Development Plan. The TDP will include expanded microtransit service, facility and bus stop enhancements, bus rapid transit, and other recommended transit service improvements. InfraStrategies is leading the development of federal, state, and local financial strategies to fund the recommended transit program, including the potential for a 30-year countywide sales tax increase.
